Watch your Windows TEMP folder with WorkSite Indexer 8.5 SP3

There is a known software defect, NT-45244, with the SP3 release of WorkSite Indexer 8.5 which may cause your Windows TEMP folder to fill with temporary files created during the ingestion process.  The files can range in size but have been reported as large as several hundred MB’s.  They are typically named kp****.tmp or rtf****.tmp.  It does not matter which drive you are running your services from, only the location of the Windows TEMP System Variable.  If this location has limited space, you can quickly run out of space.  WorkSite Support notes that you can safely delete any of these files as long as they are at least a couple hours old.
